Training

Are you working as a peer supporter, healthcare professional or in another role supporting breastfeeding mums and their families?

Would you like to know a bit more about supporting mums with specific breastfeeding challenges?

“Supporting breastfeeding mothers with thrush”  is the first in a series of short modules looking at specific breastfeeding topics.  This e-learning module takes about 30 to 60 minutes to complete and at the end of the course you should be able to:

  • Describe the main causes of thrush in breastfeeding mums and babies
  • Identify appropriate treatment of thrush
  • Explain what other things can also cause pain while breastfeeding
  • Provide support for breastfeeding women with thrush

This course is hosted on our Training site.  If you have never used this site before please click the link and create an account.  When you place your order please use the same email address that you use to sign into our Training site.  Once we have verified receipt of your payment, you will receive an email confirming that you have been added to the course.  If you do not receive this email within 5 working days, please contact centralsupport@breastfeedingnetwork.org.uk
