These factsheets have been compiled by our Drugs in Breastmilk information service team of pharmacists. If you are unable to find the information you are looking for below, or you still have questions, you can contact the team by sending a private message via our Facebook page or via email. Please provide as much information as possible (age of baby, dose, frequency and name of medication or drug).
Our service is operational every day of the year within the hours of 8:30am-8:30pm and we endeavour to respond within 24 hours. Enquiries will be answered by our pharmacist volunteers on shift, as soon as possible. This is not an emergency service. In an emergency situation, please access support from a trained healthcare professional. Information on services near you and how to contact them is available on the NHS website.
